Ikea & Job
A few weeks ago Agi and I were standing in line at Ikea to return some kind of kitchen item. There was a poor guy in front of us who was afflicted with a skin condition that neither of us had ever seen before. He was probably in his late fifties and otherwise would have been a normal, even good-looking guy. His face, neck and arms were covered in large bumps--almost like boils--and one of his arms was puffy as well. Agi and I both thought that this poor guy reminded us of Job and how he was afflicted with a terrible skin condition. Unlike Job, however, this man in Ikea was accompanied by his daughter who looked like she was in her late 20s. She was a very attractive brunette and quite compassionate to her dad. She probably came with him to help him return his own item in Ikea. Agi and I wondered how we would handle it if we developed a similar skin problem. I already know she would handle it much better than I would.
