On Tues night Agi took me out to a very classy French dinner. We've rarely
gone out to nice chi-chi restaurants in our eights years of marriage.
However, we both realized the following: Yes, it ended up costing at least
three to four times as much as it would have cost at a "regular" or "middle
class" place... But it was 10 times as enjoyable in terms of quality and
service and environment. We sat by a fireplace, I ordered a flaming dessert
and it was very pleasant simply looking around at how they decorated the
place. So we know for sure we'd rather skip the cheaper options, save up,
and then go big.
